Check out the tentative activity schedule here!
We are thrilled to announce that the 2024 DJC Reunion will be held at Camp Laurel South on Crescent Lake in Casco, Maine. This is the old location of Dr. Johnson’s Camps. Camp Laurel South still runs a camp for boys and girls during the summer and we have arranged this incredible opportunity to hold our reunion at camp! This means we will be eating, sleeping, playing, and reminiscing on the same site as old DJC!

Who will be there?
At this point, there are over 100 people planning to attend from many, many years and from many, many places! You can view the current list of committed attendees here. We will continue to update this list as people sign up. Between the DJC Reunion WhatsApp Group, Facebook group, Facebook Messenger, and other offline channels, we have had a ton of people planning to attend.
What is the cost?
The total cost is only $325 per person. (NOTE: The price will increase to $375 per person, so get your payment in today!) The easiest we to pay is via Venmo at https://account.venmo.com/u/djc2024 or PayPal at djcreunion@gmail.com. We can also accept Zelle, or Apple Cash if needed. Email djcreunion24@gmail.com for details.
Do I need to stay the entire time?
That is totally up to you if you want to come late or leave early, but the cost will remain the same.
Can I come for just one day?
See “Do I need to stay the entire time?”
Can I bring my spouse / significant other / kids?
Absolutely, if they can bear listening to us reminiscing for 3+ days, they are very welcome. Adult children over the age of 18 are welcome but we cannot have children under 18 for liability reasons.
Will there be activities?
Many camp activities will be open for our use. There will be some optional, organized activities as well. Some tentative activities/events that we are considering include Welcome Cocktails (Friday Night), Band/Musician (Saturday Night), Captain Bob Show, Softball Game, Tennis Tournament, Golf Outing, Scavenger Hunt, Bon Fire, and a Mini-Great Race.
What are the accommodations?
We will actually be staying in the cabins and other staff buildings at Camp Laurel South. Keep in mind (and you may have noticed this from Camp Laurel South’s photos and videos) the cabins have been upgraded a great deal since you last visited. Specific locations will be determined as we get closer to the actual reunion and as we finalize our list of attendees.
Are meals included?
Yes, nine meals will be included (lunch on Friday through breakfast on Monday). Meals will be served it the Dining Hall.
Who is organizing this?
Scott Bellin (’76-’85), Adam Feinzig (’81-’92), Cara Feinzig Cohen (’83-’92), Ben Grossman (’79-’87), and Ernie Spadaro (’88-’92) along with help from a lot of other DJC alumni. In fact, we will probably be reaching out to people to help organize some of the many things that need organizing. If you are interested in being involved, fill in the Volunteer Form below or email us at djcreunion@gmail.com.
Has the camp changed at all?
Yes, Camp Laurel South has spent a lot of money, time and love renovating, improving and upgrading the entire camp since they purchased it in 1992. Take a few minutes to view some of the pictures and videos on their website (https://www.camplaurelsouth.com) and you may be amazed at all the upgrades and changes they have made to the camp property.
Where can I get more information?
